Intro:

Chapman Mountain Preserve in Huntsville, Alabama was recently opened to the public in April 2018. Chapman Mountain Preserve is a tract of land just off of highway 72 that was purchased a few years ago by the Land Trust of North Alabama. It currently has three miles of hiking trails with more trails coming in the future. The preserve will eventually have primitive camping and disc golf in the future as well.

To access the trail head:

Difficulty:

The trails are fairly easy.

Hiking the Trail:

You can start on any of the trails that you want and hike them all, giving you a three mile round trip. Eventually the preserve will have several more miles of trails.

Scenery:

The trails are new and well maintained
